NCSRC TN Hackathon2025 brings together students from diverse academic streams to participate in an exciting mix of Group Discussions, Coding Demos, Capture the Flag (CTF), and On-Spot Challenge. This platform is designed to inspire critical thinking, spark creativity, and promote real-world solutions using emerging technologies.

1️⃣ Group Discussion Themes

Participants will engage in meaningful discussions on current and emerging issues, while also showcasing coding-driven solutions linked to their assigned theme.

👉 Note: All participants must prepare coding projects in advance. On the event day, one topic will be assigned to you on the spot—so ensure you are ready for all.

• Governing AI: Building an Ethical and Responsible Tech Environment
• Cybersecurity vs Privacy: Balancing National Security and Individual Rights
• Automation and the Workforce: Redefining the Future of Employment
• Social Media & Mental Health: Impact on Student Growth

 2️⃣ Coding Challenge – Visionary Demo

Each participant/team will showcase a prototype/demo that solves a real-world problem using trending technologies.

• The project must be developed prior to the event.
• Projects should align with one of the suggested themes listed under the Group Discussion.

 3️⃣ Capture the Flag (CTF)

Demonstrate your cybersecurity expertise in a dynamic Capture the Flag challenge. Compete against peers in solving real-world security puzzles that test your technical skills, analytical thinking, and teamwork. From cracking codes to defending systems, every round pushes you closer to becoming a cybersecurity champion.

4️⃣ On-Spot Challenge – Real-Time Problem Solving

Participants will be issued real-time problem statements on the spot. Teams must analyze, design solutions, and present their approach within the given time frame.
